Their Benefits

They are naturally rich in minerals: sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium. Magnesium for an anti-fatigue effect and calcium for bone health.
In vitamins: seaweed provides as many vitamins as vegetables: A, C, E (plus B1, B3, B9).
In trace elements, particularly iodine, which is involved in the proper functioning of the body and is especially beneficial for the thyroid.
In fibre: dried seaweed contains 35% to 50% of its weight in fibre. A diet rich in dietary fibre can help prevent cardiovascular disease, as well as help control type 2 diabetes and appetite.
Antioxidant: their powerful antioxidant effect comes in particular from the combination of vitamin C, vitamin A, carotenoids and flavonoids
Protein, notably in red seaweed (Palmaria palmata) and green seaweed (Ulva sp). Protein is essential for a balanced diet and for muscle mass renewal
